Upon arrival, the check-in process felt awkward, and the room left much to be desired. Issues included dirty sheets, old towels, and a malfunctioning air conditioning unit that failed to provide actual temperature readings. The lack of hot water, combined with inconsistent Wi-Fi and a broken safe, made for a frustrating experience. The noise insulation was poor, making it hard to catch any decent sleep with sounds from the corridor ringing through. Additionally, finding a half-eaten paracetamol tablet in the room was particularly off-putting.

Perfect spot for catching the beach, but that check-in was a bit awkward, not gonna lie. I had a solid night’s sleep, comfy bed, and the staff was mostly friendly except for a couple of ‘meh’ moments. Ope, could use better Wi-Fi for sure!

the hotel was a disaster! i found ants and bugs everywhere, and the shower was electrified, which was just delightful, right? i requested a sea view but got a room facing a wall. and no one even offered me a welcome drink after that chaos. i almost gave it a good review, but sadly, i just couldn't.

i had a lovely stay at papagayo hotel boutique during a wedding ceremony. the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff were super accommodating, which made things even better. i loved the close proximity to the beach and vibrant local eateries.
the air conditioning was not functioning properly.

Had an awesome time with friends! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to hit the beach or check out the shops nearby. We spent a day at the Gran Coyote Golf, which was a blast. Don’t skip the outlet shopping either, it’s a great way to spend some free time. Overall, a solid experience!
Unfortunately, we had an odd moment during check-in that felt a bit awkward. It made the start of our trip a little rocky, but thankfully we moved past it quickly.
